- 6 golden delicious apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1½ tsp lemon juice
- For the Crisp Topping:
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of kosher salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, diced into small cubes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Butter an 8×8 baking dish or spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Transfer to the prepared dish.
- In another bowl, mix brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until it resembles pea-sized crumbs.
- Sprinkle topping over apples, gently patting to cover. Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
