Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp dried basil
- 1½ tbsp garlic powder
- 1½ tbsp dried parsley flakes
- 1 tsp ground white pepper
- 1 tsp dried minced garlic (optional)
- ¼ tsp hot pepper sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender for 30 seconds or whisk together in a bowl until fully combined.
- Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag.
- Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Remove excess air, seal the bag, and refrigerate for the desired time based on the steak cut.
- When ready to cook, remove the steak from the marinade and shake off any excess liquid.
- Grill on high heat or cook on a stovetop grill pan/cast-iron skillet for 4-6 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
Notes
Avoid marinating for more than 24 hours to prevent the meat from becoming mushy. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy when cooking to your preferred doneness.
