Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar
  • Vegetable oil
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Sour cream
  • All-purpose flour
  • Cocoa powder
  • Espresso powder (optional)
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Hot brewed coffee
  • Oreos
  • Instant chocolate pudding mix
  • Milk
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Powdered sugar
  • Chocolate chip cookies
  • Brownies
  • Hot fudge sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan with Oreo cookies.
  3. In a bowl, beat sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the sour cream.
  5. Sift together dry ingredients. Alternate adding them with coffee.
  6. Pour batter into pan and bake for 26-28 minutes.
  7. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes in the cake.
  8. Whisk pudding mix and milk, then pour over warm cake.
  9. Refrigerate until pudding is firm.
  10. Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  11. Add powdered sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  12. Spread whipped cream over cake.
  13. Crush cookies, Oreos, and brownies; sprinkle over cake.
  14. Drizzle with hot fudge sauce.

Notes

Poke holes while the cake is warm so the pudding soaks in better. Chill the mixing bowl before making whipped cream for better texture.
