Description
A cheesy, gooey, and ultra-flavorful dip packed with tender shredded chicken, melty cheddar cheese, black beans, jalapeño, and taco seasoning. Perfect for game day, parties, or a fun family snack night!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (8 oz) blocks cheddar cheese, diced (mild or sharp)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (about 2 medium chicken breasts)
- 1/2 block cream cheese (or substitute with sour cream for a tangy twist)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup sliced olives (optional)
- 1 jalapeño, minced (use more for extra heat)
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
Instructions
- Dice the cheddar cheese blocks into large cubes.
- If using fresh chicken, cook and shred it beforehand.
- Add all ingredients to your slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and creamy.
- For a smoother texture, add a splash of milk or more cream cheese.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks.
- Use leftovers in tacos, burritos, or over nachos!
Notes
For the best consistency, use block cheese instead of pre-shredded cheese. Adjust spice level by adding more jalapeños or hot sauce.
