Ingredients

Scale

For the cake base:

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix (any brand works!)

  • Ingredients needed for the cake mix (usually eggs, oil, and water)

For the cheesecake filling:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened (use full-fat for best results)

  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened

  • ½ cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 2 cups graham crackers, crushed finely

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional toppings:

  • Crushed red velvet Oreos

  • Nuts, sprinkles, or chocolate shavings

  • Melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

Make the Red Velvet Cake

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (if baking the cake).

  • Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to the package instructions.

  • Pour the batter into two 8-inch cake pans and bake until done.

  • Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into small, sandy pieces. (Pro tip: If the cake is too moist, spread the crumbs on a baking sheet and dry them in the oven for 5-6 minutes at 350°F.)

2. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter.

  • Add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth and fluffy.

  • Stir in the crushed graham crackers and vanilla extract until well blended.

3. Roll the Cheesecake Balls

  • Scoop small portions of the cheesecake mixture using a cookie scoop.

  • Roll them into smooth balls with your hands. (Tip: Lightly dust your hands with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.)

  • Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill in the fridge for 1 hour.

4. Coat the Cheesecake Bites

  • Roll each cheesecake ball in the red velvet cake crumbs until fully coated.

  • Reshape gently if needed and place them back in the fridge to set for another hour.

Notes

  • Makes perfect party bites.
