- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (14 oz) petite diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a nonstick pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes. Drain the grease and add the beef to the Crockpot.
- Add the onion, garlic, water, bouillon cubes, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir everything together well.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the elbow macaroni. Cover and cook just until tender.
- Remove the bay leaves and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overcook the macaroni in the slow cooker, or it will become mushy.
