  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (14 oz) petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a nonstick pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes. Drain the grease and add the beef to the Crockpot.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, water, bouillon cubes, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir everything together well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the elbow macaroni. Cover and cook just until tender.
  5. Remove the bay leaves and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overcook the macaroni in the slow cooker, or it will become mushy.
