Description

These no-bake Easter Cookie Dough Truffles are egg-shaped, dipped in colorful chocolate, and completely safe to eat with an egg-free dough. Perfect for festive celebrations!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour (toasted for safety)
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups semisweet mini chocolate chips
  • 10 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 8 ounces pink candy melts
  • 8 ounces yellow candy melts
  • 12 ounces blue candy melts
  • Easter-themed sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the sugar and continue whipping until well combined.
  3. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in the flour and salt, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Once chilled, shape 2 tablespoons of dough into egg shapes.
  8. Refrigerate again for another hour to set.
  9. Melt the chocolate wafers and candy melts according to package instructions.
  10. Dip each truffle into your desired color and place it on a wire rack.
  11. Add sprinkles immediately before the chocolate sets.
  12. Allow them to fully harden before serving.

Notes

For best results, chill the dough before shaping to make handling easier. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
