Description

  • 1 lb ground beef (browned and drained)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 tbsp onion soup mix (1 packet)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 10 oz egg noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Spray the crockpot with non-stick spray.
  3. Add the browned ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir well and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
  5. 30 minutes before the cooking time is up, stir in the sour cream.
  6. Prepare the egg noodles according to the package directions.
  7. Serve the creamy beef stroganoff over a bed of egg noodles and enjoy.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, add a cornstarch slurry. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze without sour cream for up to 3 months. Reheat and stir in the sour cream before serving.
