Description

A festive and easy-to-make candy recipe combining peanuts, chocolate, and peanut butter chips for the perfect holiday treat. Made effortlessly in the slow cooker, this Crockpot Christmas Crack is perfect for gifting, parties, and satisfying sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds peanuts (1 pound salted, 1 pound unsalted)
  • 20 oz peanut butter chips
  • 20 oz white melting wafers
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate baking bar (optional)
  • Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Add peanuts to the bottom of a 4-quart or larger slow cooker.
  2. Layer chocolate chips, baking chocolate, peanut butter chips, and white melting wafers on top.
  3. Set the crockpot to LOW and cook for 1 hour without stirring.
  4. After the first hour, gently stir. Continue cooking for an additional hour, stirring every 30 minutes.
  5. Once fully melted and smooth, scoop small dollops onto wax or parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle with festive decorations before the candy sets.
  7. Allow the candy to cool and harden, then store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Store the candy in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days.
  • For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze (only if eating frozen).
  • Substitutions: Swap peanuts for cashews or almonds, use butterscotch chips instead of peanut butter chips, or add caramel drizzle.
  • Do not overcook or let the chocolate scorch—this can ruin the texture.
