Description
An easy, cheesy, and spicy dip that’s perfect for game day or any gathering! Made with tender shredded chicken, creamy ranch dressing, and spicy buffalo sauce, this slow-cooker dip is packed with flavor and requires minimal effort.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie or canned chicken works great)
- 16 oz cream cheese (cubed, full-fat recommended for creaminess)
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- ¾ cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s RedHot is a great option)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- Optional toppings: crumbled blue cheese, sliced scallions
Instructions
- Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place shredded cooked chicken into the slow cooker, followed by cubed cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, and 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently to combine.
- Set the crockpot to low heat and cook for 2½ to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- With 30 minutes remaining, sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover and allow it to melt completely.
- Once done, give the dip a final stir and top with crumbled blue cheese and sliced scallions.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh-cut veggies.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Reheat in the microwave in 30-second increments or warm over low heat in a saucepan.
