- 2 whole chicken breasts, sliced horizontally
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded fontina or white cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup garlic aioli (or garlic mayo)
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced
- Lemon wedges, to serve
- Optional: Lettuce or spinach, crispy bacon, sliced hardboiled eggs, tomato slices
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat with vegetable oil. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Once done, cut the chicken into strips and set aside.
- Add 2 tablespoons of cheese to the center of each tortilla. Layer chicken strips, drizzle with garlic aioli, sprinkle cilantro, and top with avocado slices.
- Fold like a burrito and grill for 2-3 minutes to achieve crispy edges.
- Slice in half and serve warm with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, use ripe but firm avocados and fresh ingredients. Customize with your favorite add-ins like crispy bacon or roasted veggies.
